Eleuthera Basketball Association Gears Up

Eleuthera Basketball season opens on November 14th, 2008. Teams are already signed up and ready to compete. The defending champions, the Police Enforcers; runners up the Rock Sound Rockets; James Cistern Airblazers; Hatchet Bay Jammers; Anchor Bay Hawks (Governor’s Harbour); Palmetto Point Blazers and the Harbour Island Panthers who are returning to the Eleuthera league this year. Teams still awaiting confirmation are the Savannah Sound Chargers, Lower Bogue Tigers and Green Castle.

A week of pre-season games, have been planned and are slated to begin on November 1st.

A day with the Junior Basketball program is also planned for the under 12 and under 16 age groups.
