Olympic Team Travels To South Eleuthera with Chris Brown
The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture's Olympic celebration continues on Wednesday October 15, when the team along with native track star Chris Brown arrives at the Rock Sound Airport Wednesday. Brown will also be celebrating his 30th birthday Wednesday. The team is expected to be treated to a breakfast and press party planned at Sammy's Place at 8:30 a.m. followed by a junkanoo reception and schools' rally at the Charles Symonette Park located in Wemyss Bight. Furthermore, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the team will travel to Grand Bahama. A junkanoo reception and schools' rally is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Independence Park in Freeport. Later on in the evening Team Bahamas will be treated to a dinner reception.
