Police Seeking Help From Public on Murder Investigation in New Providence

(Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas) - Police are seeking help from the public regarding the murder of a young man identified ast Tekoyo McKinney, date of birth 14-12-84, of Garden Hills, New Providence. The murder occurred shortly before 11:00pm on Thursday 14th April, 2011. The victim was shot and killed by two men armed with handguns, in front of a residence on Cordeaux Avenue and Minnie Street.

The motive for this latest murder is unknown. Police have launched an intense investigation into this matter.

Anyone with information regarding this latest murder is urged to contact the Police at 919 or Crime Stoppers at 328-8477. Family Island residents can contact the police toll free at 1-242-300-8476.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force encourages you to be a good citizen and report crime.
