Prison Officer Accidentally Shot By Another

(NASSAU, The Bahamas) - A press statement from Her Majesty's Prison outlines an incident that resulted in an officer being shot, apparently by accident.
The statement read:
At approximately 1:10p.m. today (Tuesday, December 29, 2009), while on duty at Her Majesty’s Prison, an officer was shot by another officer in what appears to be an accident.
The officer in question is in stable condition at the Princess Margaret Hospital and his injuries are not deemed to be life threatening. His family has been notified and the matter is under Police investigation.
