House Committee On Land Extends Submission Deadline

(Nassau, Bahamas) The Select Committee to look into all matters with regard to the disposition of publicly held lands met this morning 4th September on its adjourned date. The Committee considered submissions and requests made by the public.  It decided that  the deadline for submissions to the Committee should be further extended to Friday 18th September.  Accordingly, all people who are interested in making submissions before the committee and or appearing before the committee should write the Clerk of the House of Assembly with their submissions or requests.  The Committee has agreed to  respond to all those who have written letters and made submissions and to draw up a schedule of witnesses for those who wish to appear before the Committee.  The Committee adjourned to Monday 21st September 2009 at 10 a.m.
