Ravens Calendar to feature Bahamian backdrop

Members of the Bahamas Film Commission met with the Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders during the cheerleaders’ 2009 calendar photo shoot in Nassau. This is the cheerleaders’ second annual swimsuit calendar shoot. Last year, they were photographed in the Dominican Republic.

This year, the shoot is based at Wyndham Nassau Resort, and fans in Baltimore will be able to get updates of the shoot from their radio personalities, Mickey, Amelia and Spiegel, of radio station 98 Rock. Angela Archer, senior manager in the Bahamas Film Commission will also be featured in a video of the photo shoot.

The Ravens joins a corps of professional sports cheerleaders who have used islands of the Bahamas as a background to their special portraits. The list includes the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat. The Ravens will be in Nassau until May 11.
