POLICE INVESTIGATES FIRE AT A.F. ADDERLEY SCHOOL

(Nassau, Bahamas) - Police are investigating a fire that has left a classroom at the A. F. Adderley Junior High School extensively damaged. Sometime around 8:50 pm on Sunday 27th November, 2011 police received reports that the school located on Baillou Hill Road and Graham Drive was on fire. Firefighters responded and met a north-western classroom engulfed in flames. The fire which was contained to the classroom was extinguished, without any other portion of the school being damaged.
Active police investigations continue.
