Minister anticipating enjoyable talent from Eleuthera Bands in North Eleuthera Bash!
In his Contribution to the 2009, Mid Year Budget Statement on March 5th 2009, The Hon. Thomas Desmond Bannister, Minister with responsibility for Youth Sports and Culture stated the Governments commitment to supporting youth bands, and to facilitate more public performances. He said that in all, the Ministry has provided grants in excess of $71,000.00 to twenty-four youth bands throughout the Bahamas.
Bannister then went on to exclaim!
“In this regard, Sir, there will be a big band bash in North Eleuthera on 28th March, 2009, involving all of the Eleuthera based youth bands. I am looking forward to an entertaining time Sir, and I anticipate that the entire community will enjoy the display of talent from our young people in Eleuthera.”
