The Sister Sister Breast Cancer Survivor Group out of Nassau will be in  Eleuthera from  Friday June 12 to Sunday June 14, 2009 to participate in a series of activities across the island with the Eleuthera Branch of the Cancer Society of The Bahamas.

In Harbour Island the group plans to have a luncheon from 12:00 noon to 2pm at the St. John's Anglican Church Parish Hall,  on  Friday, June 12.  Later that evening,  plans are to have a presentation in Lower Bogue, Eleuthera at Trinity Assembly Outreach Centre at 7 p.m. where the group will speak of their experiences and encourage men and women to take better care of their bodies and to get tested on a regular basis.  The invitation is extended to residents of Spanish Wells and the Mainland to participate in this session. The sessions promise to be both inspiring and encouraging.

On Saturday, June 13,  the group will meet from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. at the Cancer Society building in Palmetto Point, where they will speak to persons in South and Central Eleuthera.

The Cancer Society invites participation in the events and welcomes persons joining their team in the ongoing fight against cancer.
