C-LET Graduates First 20 Students in Church Leadership Certification Programme

Several Eleuthera Students included.

(Nassau, Bahamas) The Graduation Ceremony for the first twenty students in the Church Leadership Certification Programme offered by The Centre for Leadership, Education and Training (C-LET) was held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at St, Michael’s Methodist Church, Boyd Subdivision, Nassau.

Students, representing churches in Eleuthera, Abaco and Nassau, completed courses in theology, ethics, biblical studies, pastoral care and counselling, liturgy and worship and integration. Students specialized in three specialty areas offered by C-LET: Leadership; Youth Ministry and Preaching.

In October 2011 C-LET launched the Eleuthera based programme and added two additional new courses: (1) Community Coaching and Mentoring and (2) Community Development and Transformation. Classes began on October 28, 2011. Twenty nine students are presently enrolled in the Eleuthera based course and can complete their studies as early as April, 2012.
