Hanna Glances At Eleuthera - Photos included.

Included are photos of some flooding associated with Tropical Storm Hanna around the Administration building/Park area of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. The water came primarily from surge in the Bay Front area.
Hanna with winds of 60 -70mph passed just east of Eleuthera being located at 2:00 PM EDT September 04, 2008 ... near latitude 25.1 North...longitude 74.2 West about 205 miles...330 km...east of Nassau or about 135 miles east of Eleuthera.
Damage across the islandĀ appeared limited to a few downed electrical poles, battered trees and some flooding in low lying areas. In Governor's Harbour, electricity had been out but was back on Friday morning with a subsequent outage Friday night through to Saturday afternoon.
Reports from Rock SoundĀ in the South and Harbour Island in the north, were only of tree damage and some flooding in low lying areas which subsided relatively quickly following the passing of the storm.
