Harbourside Golf Cart Rentals is an exciting new business that opened to the public in July, 2008 providing services to both the local Spanish Wells community and tourists. The business is owned by  Mr. and Mrs. Andre Sands, who felt the need to establish a business that would cater mainly to tourists. Harbourside offers the option of renting four (4) or six (6) seater golf carts to any legal driver interested. The complex also includes apartments and a gift shop. The gift shop is ideal for tourists interested in purchasing native artwork, whether it be jewelry, paintings, or any other handcrafts. Bahamian t-shirts and compact discs may also be purchased as souvenirs. The workers' friendly greetings are sure to keep tourists coming back, not only to Harbourside, but to the community of Spanish Wells.

Mr. and Mrs. Sands have invited local artists to display and sell their products in their store which will promote the artists' work and encourage other talented Bahamians to use their talents. Just as a complimentary thank you, Harbourside also offers free wireless internet to their customers.

You may take a look at what Harbourside has to offer on their website at www.spanishwellsharboursiderentals.com.  The website was designed by one of Spanish Wells' own, Ms. Danica Sands, who is a fresh graduate from Elon University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.

Danica was pictured in the June issue of The Eleutheran.
