Sister Sister Cancer Support Group Holds Highly Informative Meetings In

On June 12th and 13th five very special ladies from the Sister, Sister Breast
Cancer Support group out of Nassau were enthusiastically received at three
open-house styled meetings organized through the Eleuthera Cancer Society,
touching the lives of over 100 Eleuthera women in the process. They were Helen
Rolle, Secretary; Jennie Dean, Treasurer; Nurse Sandra Rolle, Vice President;
Addison (Eddie) Francis, Caller; and Andrea Sweeting, President.
The first meeting was held in Harbour Island at noon on Friday, June 12th, where
more than 20 persons attended; then later that evening in Lower Bogue almost 40
persons turned out to learn as much as they could about Breast Cancer. On
Saturday morning 50 plus ladies, young and older, from Central and South
Eleuthera filled out the Cancer Society building in Palmetto Point to gain as
much knowledge as they could about the disease, including the contestants in the
Miss Teen Eleuthera pageant.
