this is a great article. I was raised by my grandm in hatchet bay eleuthra, but now reside in west palm beach, fl. I remember my mom telling me her stories about the 60's and 70's. She Mentioned the name"Butch" several times.
HE stayed accross from from my grandma house with his mom and other brothers.Don Pratt is one on my moms male great friends and Danny Seymour is my cousins father, who I see once a year of August Monday. Being here in the states have made me love my history and the old folks who made up hatchet bay eleuthra what it is today.My generation was doing the same things he was talking about twenty years ago.Now every year when I come home I witness the same little boys exploring hatchet bay eleuthra, like we did. Great History Repeats itself.

Dear. Mr. Scavela, I was very touched after reading the documentary article on behalf of yourself. I also could relate to many of the challenges in my life time in James Cistern as being very similar. My name Tony Robinson of James Cistern currently living in the U.S. It's a blessing to have Leaders of your caliber to give our young generations hope. I've always believed that every person has a special talent, no matter under what circumstances, just believe in yourself. God has appointed you in a very special way to bridge our youth in positivities. There is hope and there is a LIGHT at the end of the tunnel, but you have to keep moving forward.
